Craniofacial Fellowship

KLS Martin/Bien-Air Craniofacial Resident Travel Scholarship

The American Association of Plastic Surgeons (AAPS) is excited to announce the return of a Craniofacial resident travel scholarship, sponsored through the generosity of KLS Martin and Bien-Air, to support 6 plastic surgery residents in their last 3 years of residency (Integrated PGY4-6 or Independent Residents) to attend the

AAPS Annual Meeting in Lihue, Hawaii from May 2-5, 2026

Resident selection will be based on a letter from the applicants and a letter of support from the Program Director. Applicants should be individuals who are considering a craniofacial fellowship and are seen as candidates for future contributions to academic medicine and/or organized plastic surgery. The goal of the program is to foster the career of these individuals through exposure to our premier academic meeting, the AAPS.

The selected resident scholars will be provided with meeting registration, housing reimbursement up to $400/night for 3 nights, and a travel allowance of up to $500. Resident scholars will attend a morning breakout session focused on innovative techniques in craniofacial surgery and establishing a network for our future leaders.
